3rd Party

It's a Fundraiser

Missing Children captured the hearts of their corporate partners. So important for charities like these to have the community reach out and thank them for all the hard and important work they do.

A couple of dude's had an idea, saw an opportunity and just like that, Benefit was Born.

So often it's the Company, the Corporation that gets the 15 minutes of fame. The Logo posted in lights.

The reality is it's the people that each day create it.

"in the future everybody will be famous for fifteen minutes."

Look out here come the Arts

The Band took the stage, like they so often do, quietly, anonymously, with grace. Then the music starts, next the realization, if your lucky enough to know what a unique treat the trio is bringing to the benefit.

For years Tim Tamishiro and Sheldon Zandboer have been sharing their musical genius with Calgarians. Tim's Show "Tonic" all things refreshingly Jazz and them some, can be caught on CBC Radio Two. Look for it!

 "The" Oscar Lopez

On this night Oscar decided to join the duet before his solo set.
If you've ever listened to Oscar you know what an amazing gift of guitar he possesses.

To see him in person makes you feel like your the only one in the room. The passion, the intellect, the training, so abundant it's all consuming.

Wonderful how musicians are so willing to share gift, talents and the stage.

Collaboration was indeed a theme of the evening.

The Art and the Man.

So visually strong, the scene read like an open book to me.

Andy does live on in an era that he himself was able to envision.

I can't help think he knew he was a head of his time...
